Intensifying Our Efforts in Climate Protection
We have been operating a carbon-neutral vehicle fleet to protect the climate since 2013. The emissions from our company cars are offset through the myclimate.org portal, supporting certified climate protection projects.
For 2019, we intensified our efforts even further. In addition to our company fleet, we now compensate for all kilometers traveled by our employees in their private vehicles for their daily commute to and from work. For the current year, we anticipate an average of 220 working days and approximately 158,000 kilometers. This results in the compensation of more than 50 tons of the climate-damaging greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide (CO2).
