A Sweet Success Story – Busy Bees Buzzing at VOGT!
At VOGT, it’s not all about technical ceramics – since autumn 2024, there has also been a lot of busy buzzing in the garden behind our company building! Three bee colonies have made their home there, not only ensuring a blooming environment but also gifting us with delicious honey.
The idea of introducing our own bee colonies has been a resounding success. We have already enjoyed two bountiful honey harvests this year, in early June and mid-July 2025.
Our experienced beekeeper and employee, Mr. Fenzel, took charge of caring for the colonies with great dedication and expertise. He was supported by several enthusiastic colleagues who dived into this exciting hobby as "junior beekeepers." Together, they extracted, bottled, and, of course, sampled the honey.
As a sweet thank-you for our team's commitment, everyone received a jar of the first freshly harvested honey. The unanimous verdict? Delicious!
We are proud of our busy bees and the dedication of our employees who made this sweet project such a success. It is wonderful to see how we not only create innovative products but also contribute to nature – with such a tasty result!
