Materials – Aluminum Oxide C795 / C799
Aluminum Oxide Al2O3 is the most significant technical oxide ceramic material with the widest range of applications. Densely sintered alumina is characterized by very high strength and hardness, high temperature stability, excellent electrical insulation, and high resistance to both wear and corrosion, even at elevated temperatures.
Outstanding performance values for flexural strength, wear resistance, and high-temperature stability make it the preferred choice for many mechanically highly stressed applications. We process C795 (96% purity) and C799 (99.7% purity), both offering high chemical resistance and superior surface quality. As a specialty material, we can also provide 99.99% purity.
