Job Description
As a Machine Setter / Machine Setup Technician (m/f/d), you will set up, tool, and assemble our dies and tooling according to engineering designs so they are ready for pressing. You will ensure compliance with production scheduling deadlines, monitor target specifications, and oversee body/ceramic mass quality. Through sample evaluations and ongoing in-process inspections, you will document and adjust the process while actively minimizing scrap. Additionally, you are responsible for machine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs. You will always reliably implement occupational safety, cleanliness, and standard operating procedures.

Your Responsibilities
- Timely setup, tooling, and teardown of dies/tools, including assembly according to engineering designs for press-ready handover.
- Reliable adherence to pressing schedules in accordance with current production planning.
- Daily sample evaluations and ongoing in-process inspections, including seamless documentation.
- Implementation of necessary corrections as well as continuous updating of press cards and inspection forms.
- Consistent monitoring and compliance with specified target values.
- Active scrap monitoring and early initiation of targeted improvement measures.
- Continuous inspection of the ceramic body/mass quality to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted supply of material.
- Thorough cleaning of machines and components (e.g., feeders, hoppers, hoses) during material changeovers.
- Regular maintenance and professional repair of production machinery.
