A sweet success story: Busy bees buzzing at VOGT!
VOGT is not just about technical ceramics – since fall 2024, there has also been a buzzing and humming in the garden behind our company building! Three bee colonies have made their home there, not only ensuring that nature flourishes, but also providing us with delicious honey.
The idea of establishing our own bee colonies has been a complete success. We have already had two rich honey harvests this year, at the beginning of June and in mid-July 2025.
Our experienced beekeeper and employee, Mr. Fenzel, has taken on the care of the colonies with great dedication and expertise. He was supported by several enthusiastic employees who have taken up this exciting hobby as young beekeepers. Together, they extracted, bottled, and, of course, tasted the honey.
As a sweet thank you for their commitment, each employee received a jar of the first freshly harvested honey. The unanimous verdict? Delicious!
We are proud of our hard-working bees and the commitment of our employees, who have made this sweet project a complete success. It's wonderful to see how we are not only creating innovative products, but also contributing to nature and achieving such delicious results in the process!
